Hello, my name is Carl Farmer and I am an amateur photographer interested in exploring my skills, I am interested in developing a style and expanding my portfolio.
I have always been interested in imagery (both still and moving)... I have a large range of interests and influences including photography, film, music, culture, and art.
I have recently started to concentrate my efforts and the development of my portfolio with staged studio and location shoots using models with a more edgy look. I am interested in the Gothic look and feel of a location set with a juxtaposition of a beautiful model, I like the idea of trying to bring out the vulnerable side of a model whilst set in a very harsh environment.
In recent months, I have developed an ongoing love and appreciation for photography. Now a hobby of mine, I find myself learning new skills of the trade and trying to shape my own style.
I am currently working on a couple of different location sites including a disused amusement arcade, an old hotel built in the late 1800's and I want to work with several different models on these sites to see what we can achieve...
If you are a model or makeup artist in the Dublin area and want to work on something a little different drop me a line...
